How often should my child spend outdoors for it to be beneficial to his/her eyesight?
Experts recommend that every child spend at least 2 hours outdoors every day.
I don't know if I can commit to taking my child out for 2 hours daily. How do I participate in the Challenge?
SuperVision wants to encourage families to start small in order to develop a good habit over time. For our Challenge, we suggest spending at least 30 minutes with your child outdoors at least twice a week.
I am a parent. Can I ask my spouse/helper to bring my child out?
Yes! You may enlist the help of your helper, or your child's grandparent, uncle, aunt or older sibling to bring your child out during the Challenge. However, to minimise confusion, please ensure that the same person submits photos to us throughout the duration of the Challenge, using the same Facebook user account.
I have more than one child. Can my children accumulate points together?
Siblings are welcome to participate in the Challenge together. However, points will still be accumulated individually and cannot be shared or combined among siblings. This is because we want to encourage each individual child to commit to more regular outdoor activity.
I have more than one child. Can I switch children midway through the Challenge?
We want to encourage each child to commit to more regular outdoor activity. To maximise the number of points, please ensure the same child participates in the outdoor activities during the Challenge. If you submit a photo of a different child, points will be awarded separately under a different child.
Will I earn additional points if my child engages in multiple outdoor activities in a day?
Only one outdoor activity will be considered per day. If you submit photos of multiple outdoor activities on the same day, we will only consider the activity worth the highest number of points.
How many prizes can I win in this Challenge?
You may win up to two prizes in our Challenge! If you are one of the top 3 families that gained the most points in a single week, you will be awarded the weekly prize based on your placing (1st, 2nd or 3rd). Following which, you will no longer be eligible for the subsequent weekly prizes, but you remain eligible to win the overall grand prizes at the end of the Challenge.
You need not win a weekly prize to be eligible for the grand prizes.
